Positive results of the ISO audit

On May 8th an external ISO audit was carried out in our company. We take pride in the fact that we managed to pass it without any major difficulties. This is, according to us and the auditors, the best proof of our managers' and workers' involvement in the constant perfecting of the quality management system in Tecsolum. For Tecsolum Team these annual ISO audits are the best motivation to intensify our work effort. 

Successfully coping with the crisis

We are glad to inform that the results we obtained in the first quarter of 2009 are in all respects positive. Despite the ubiquitous crisis, which started its reign over the world economy last year, we are still working with the same energy and among the same great employees. We managed to avoid any redundancies, which positively influences our staff's morale. We do not intend to slow down and we look forward to bright future!

Getting ready for the external audit

It has been a year since Tecsolum was granted the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certificate: a distinction only given to companies that demonstrate a total commitment to their quality service. In a month's time we are to be audited by an external certification body, which will hopefully prove the compliance of the processes that take place in our company with the requirements of the ISO norms. To prepare Tecsolum for the audit our employees are trying to reduce any potential discrepancies.
What helps us in these preparations is the fact that all of our office workers are qualified internal auditors. We are obliged to undertake a rigorous internal assessment in between the yearly external audits to ensure that all our working processes are fully adhered to and are able to show a monitorable improvement of service level. Thanks to the training organized in our premises last month, we are now able to organize frequent and effective audits.

More employees devoted to customer care

Tecsolum company is in the course of transforming and modernizing its sales department. There are now more employees willing and able to help our clients should they need any assistance or be in doubt. This is one of the steps towards creating an efficient customer care centre, which would not only answer any questions and look after our trading partners, but also play a major role in coordinating the work of all the other departments to serve our customers in the best possible way.
As the number of our clients is steadily growing, we need to make sure all of them will get necessary attention and help.

The enlargement of our factory successfully finished

During a Christmas meeting with all the workers of Tecsolum, we intended to sum up the previous year, focusing especially on the successful enlargement of our factory. As it had been planned, an additional warehouse has been built, along with new internal roads and squares.
Additonal stocking space and the improvement of our infastructure in general is necessary in relation with our new strategy. Winning new markets and increasing production and sales are the directions of development in which Tecsolum wants to move in the coming year.

Extention of our factory

At the beginning of September, we have started to extend our factory (preparatory works - see photo). As a first step we are planning to build an extra site for the transport maneuvers, special squares for the waste, internal roads, and an additional small warehouse.
This development is related to our constant intensification of the sales efforts towards new markets in the countries of the European Union, as well as in the USA.

Working with ISO 9001:2000 standards

In the end of April this year we have obtained the certification in conformity with ISO 9001:2000's rule. The certificate contains design, production and sales of the brushes for the road sweepers. The document is valid until 2013-05-13 and its registration number is 1210033749TMS.

Company Christmas Event

Our first company event was held on Friday, 21 of December 2007, in "Tulipan” restaurant in Środa Śląska city. Before the Christmas dishes were served, the traditional breaking off and exchanging part of Christmas wafer had taken place, as well as wishing all the best to each others.

Implementation of ISO 9001 quality managment system

Our company is now in the final stage of preparation for the implementation of an integrated quality management system - ISO 9001:2000. This system will regulate all processes in the company, beginning with the contact with the customers, through preparation of the production, purchase of raw materials, management of the warehouse and invoicing. The final external audit and obtainment of the ISO certificate is planned for the end of April, this year.
